Clue 1: Don’t Jump the Gun. You’re only on Clue 1.
This just meant that whomever is the subject of Clue 1 Hints 1-3 is not the murderer.
Hint 1: This suspect is not in the cards.
This identifies the subject of Clue 1 as Randall “Rummy” Johnson.
Clue 1: CSI Report - Case No PU-20100187
Jake the Snake was shot. The shell casing was originally manufactured in the 1860’s.
Hair with relaxed bonding is considered Caucasian hair – eliminating D’Andre.
Jake had a non-lethal dosage of cyanide (meaning of this will come up later).
Of the five sets of shoe prints found at the scene, none of the prints was those of the shooter. This also eliminates D’Andre since the four elimination shoe prints belonged to: the victim, the two detectives and D’Andre. The fifth set of prints belonged to the shooter.
Hint 1: Peanut or plain, the chocolate is great, I ain't the one who fed Jake the bait!
M & M’s come in peanut and plain.

Clue 1 gives invaluable information to solve the crime and eliminates D’Andre Ton Loc
Hints 1 – 3 eliminate Martha Mondell
Clue 2: ME Report.
Cause of death was gun shot.
Jake had a non-lethal dosage of cyanide.
There were three bidders tickets in Jakes’ pockets.
Time of death was 10:30 p.m. on 4/14/10.
Hint 1: A receipt from Mangos for the time of the murder.
Hint 2: Posture Foundation sneakers were known as PF Flyers.
PF was Phyllis Featherstone.
All the hints associated with Clue 2 relate to Phyllis.Hint 3: Green is Clean.
Phyllis’s trademark color was green.
Clue 2 provides invaluable information to solve the crime.
Hints 1 – 3 eliminate Phyllis Featherstone.
Clue 3: Bid Ticket 3 - Mr. T Authentic Gold Chain assortment.
This clue indicated that D’Andre Ton Loc purchased Mr. T jewelry at the auction.
Hint 1: He may have done the "Wild Thing." But never would he kill for bling.
This hint indicates that D’Andre would not kill for “bling.”Hint 2: Cruised with Nicole, a very big fan. Murder? Do not kid, man.
In the story, D’Andre says that he found Jake with his Eyes Wide Shut, a reference to the Nicole Kidman, Tom Cruise movie.
Clue 3 and Hints 1 and 2 eliminate D’Andre Ton Loc along with the shoe print detail in the CSI Report.
Clue 4: This was the Texas Hold Em hand. The up cards were 1-8-7 the “code” to homicide.
Hint 1: This was the bid sheet for a Civil War Gun purchased by Gaitor Bates.
Since this was most likely the murder weapon, this immediately points to Gaitor as the perpetrator. Remember, in the CSI report, Jake was shot with an 1860’s shell casing.Hint 2: Turn back the clock? That’s really a crock. A good detective knows. It’s buried in clothes.
In the story, Gaitor is shopping at Shop 603 for trendy jeans and a shirt to keep him looking “young” and in the game. This hint tells you that the gun is buried in the stack of clothing. He ditched it there when Det. Duhman entered the store.
Clue 4 and Hints 1 and 2 point to Gaitor Bates as the killer.
Hint 2: Tells you that the murder weapon is located at Shop 603.
Clue 5: Ode to a Grecian Urn by TS Elliot.
Heard melodies are sweet, but those unheard are sweeter; therefore, ye soft pipes, play on; Ode to a Grecian Urn… hmm. Murder is not her turn on.
TS was Ryne Stone’s initials before she changed her name (Taryn Simple).
The clue is about melodies and Ryne Stone is the singer.
Hint 1: Was hanging out with Campbell, first name Glen. I swear I didn’t do it, Amen, Amen.
This hint indicates that Ryne Stone didn’t do it, she had an alibi.Hint 2: This was the signed dated rental ticket for use of the Sixth Star Entertainment studio where Ryne Stone was cutting a demo tape to get her career back.
The time coincided with the time of the death.
Clue 5 and Hints 1 and 2 eliminate Ryne Stone.
Clue 6: I always drink high-class booze. Don't look at me for murder clues!
This Clue is about Rebel Rhymes since it is he that drinks $500 bottles of Johnny Walker Blue and it eliminates Rebel.
Hint 1: This is the bid ticket for the 1918 AC Gilbert Children’s Chemistry Set.
This set traditionally included cyanide, but the cyanide was not listed with the items at the time of purchase indicating that someone else took it.Hint 2: It wasn't in the set, Murder? Not over bad debt.
In the story, Jake owes Rebel Rhymes $50,000 but it says that Rebel would not murder over a bad debt.
Clue 6 and Hints 1 and 2 eliminate Rebel Rhymes as the murderer.
Audio Clue 7: The song was See Ya Later Alligator by Bill Haley and His Comets.
This was the final indication that Gaitor Bates murdered Jake the Snake.
He hid the gun in Shop 603 under some clothing.
